(WHTM) – Driving around Pennsylvania you may notice blue signs near the road or a structure but what do these signs signify?. Currently, there are over 2,500 of the large, blue signs and they mark a significant historical area that involves historic people, places, actions, and ideas, according to the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC).
