Changing tide carries huge whale carcass 3 miles from where it washed up

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — The rotting carcass of the massive fin whale that washed ashore near Sunset Beach on Feb. 12 has been carried miles away from its original location by the changing tides.

Months later, TriMet silent on cause of MAX-Streetcar crash; lawsuit ‘pending’

The Seaside Aquarium announced on Feb. 15 that the whale’s body was moved 3 miles north of the Sunset Beach entrance. Those wishing to see the dead whale are still advised to keep a safe distance.
