Coffee shop in Whitehaven closing due to ‘unfortunate circumstances’

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A coffee shop is closing its Whitehaven location after four years in the community.

Muggin Coffeehouse announced the closure of its Brownlee Road location on social media Friday afternoon. It will officially close on Saturday, February 17.

The business said they “encountered unfortunate circumstances” that led to the decision to close that location but did not specify what the circumstances were.

They are encouraging customers to visit their Uptown location at 606 North Main Street.
