Early this morning, a plume of smoke rose into the Livermore sky as firefighters rushed to extinguish a blaze in the vicinity of Hacienda and Interstate 580. The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department was quick to respond, finding a dumpster encased within a 20-foot by 10-foot trash enclosure engulfed in flames. The report, issued on their Facebook page, confirmed that Engine 90 and Truck 93 managed to douse the fire without incident.
