LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Winter has returned for a brief visit over the weekend. A surge of Polar air arrived early Friday and will remain with us until Sunday afternoon. I expect temperatures to continue to fall overnight into the low to mid 20s for all of the area. Saturday will be cold with highs only in the mid to upper 30s for most of the area. Some 40 plus temps are possible in the southern South Plains Saturday.
