Two Machesney Park businesses vandalized; suspect arrested

MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — A Rockford man has been arrested for allegedly spray paint vandalism at two Machesney Park businesses.

According to the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, around 9 a.m. Thursday, deputies found Embroid This, at 7830 N. 2nd Street, and Custom Graphx, at 7836 N. 2nd Street, as well as a van had been vandalized.

Throughout the investigation, Bishopp Gunn, 24, was identified as the suspect.

He was arrested in the 2600 block of Bainburg Drive in Rockford and charged with 2 counts of criminal damage to property, and was wanted on a Boone County warrant.
