NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Officers with North Charleston Police responded to a reported shooting Friday just before noon, according to NCPD.
The shooting occurred in the 2700 block of Ashley Phosphate Road at a Sunoco gas station. On scene, officers found one man had been shot.
EMS took the shooting victim to a local hospital for treatment, said NCPD Spokesman Harve Jacobs.
There was no update on the condition of the victim.
Jacobs said police have identified a suspect, although no arrests have been made.
NCPD’s investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
