Bakersfield Fire Dept. use ‘Jaws of Life’ to extricate crash victims

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield Fire Department had to use the jaws of life to remove two people from a single vehicle crash in central Bakersfield.

The crash happened Thursday afternoon on Holtby Court. It wasn’t immediately known what caused the crash, the vehicle somehow ran off the road and into a fence.

According to witnesses, two men were taken away by an ambulance.
