Upcoming lane closures in Dayton: what to know

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — Construction continues on many major highways in the Miami Valley, with new lane closures expect over the next week.

The Ohio Department of Transportation has released Montgomery County’s weekly construction update, with new impacts for drivers beginning Monday, Feb. 19.

I-75

As crews continue the reconstruction of I-75 through Moraine, motorists can expect 15-minute intermittent lane closures between U.S. Route 35 and State Route 725. These lane closures will be in effect every night from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., running Monday, Feb. 19, through Wednesday, Feb. 21.

Traffic will be maintained through a rolling roadblock with law enforcement officers. Crews will be completing overhead utility work.

6-State Trooper Project to patrol on I-75 this weekend

I-70

The ramp from westbound I-70 to State Route 235/State Route 4 will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. while crews repair the roadway.

Drivers can take westbound I-70 to State Route 201 to eastbound I-70 to get to State Route 235/State Route 4.
