HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – The High Springs Fire Department wants residents to know that two large-acreage prescribed burns north and south of the city may push the sight or smell of smoke into the core of High Springs.
Burn #1 is 120 acres off NW 130th Avenue, just west of State Road 45.
Burn #2 is 160 acres between CR-1491 and I-75, about two miles north of exit 404.
