The owner of the property where a Big Boy restaurant sat for years on Pearl Street has donated it to the Grand Rapids Downtown Development Authority in Grand Rapids. The site is just west of U.S.-131 and just east of the Hunting Y-M-C-A. The property is now a part of the proposed site where an 85-hundred seat soccer stadium is considering being built, though no officials decisions have been made as of yet.
