The bank planned more than 30 different ways to spread kindness from San Antonio, Texas all the way to Tulsa.

“Kindness can change the course and the trajectory of someone’s life,” said Lawson.

The Moore Police Department joined in on the effort, helping the bank hand out gift cards instead of tickets.

The first stop was at the post office, then they headed to the Crest on Eastern Avenue.

“That’s wonderful,” said one woman. “I feed a lot of homeless people so you’re helping me too.”

Fourteen $25 gift cards were handed out.

“They’re going home with a little bit extra money to help pay for things such as groceries or bills, whatever they may need it for,” said Clynt Byley with the Moore Police Department.
