HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) – The Horry County Animal Care Center is closed to the public until at least March 1 due to an illness among their cat and dog population. During the closure, the HCACC will not be able to conduct in-person adoptions, nor accept owner surrenders or stray intakes.
