Tigers in Top 4 for Highly Regarded OL Target

Clemson is on the short list of favorites for this standout offensive line prospect in the class of 2025.

Evans (Ga.) High School four-star Mason Short announced his top four schools on Friday and named Clemson among them, along with Georgia, Ohio State and Kentucky.

Short decommitted from Alabama in January, following the retirement of Nick Saban. He had previously been committed to the Tide since last April.

Clemson extended an offer to Short on Jan. 24, and he subsequently attended the Tigers’ elite junior day on Jan. 27.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder is ranked as high as the No. 75 overall prospect in the 2025 class by ESPN, which considers him the No. 10 offensive tackle nationally.
