The board of directors for the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority has extended the executive director’s contract by three years.
This comes as Erie County Executive Brenton Davis continues to question the authority’s financial records.

The county gaming revenue authority board of directors approved a new contract for Executive Director Perry Wood with a $141,500 base salary.
The chairman said four board members voted in favor of Wood’s contract renewal.
“It is public record. It is on the website and you know we feel it is in line with the position so we concurred to give it to him,” said Dale Barney, chair of the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority.
Erie County Executive Brenton Davis and other elected officials are asking for the authority’s financial record.
Representatives show support for ECGRA after receiving operational concerns
Davis said he’s asking the PA auditor general’s office to investigate.
“You’re talking thousands and tens of thousands of dollars of Amazon purchases and all we’re saying is taxpayers have a right to know where this casino gaming money is being spent,” Davis said.
