New immersive art exhibit ‘Eclipsing Stars’ opens in downtown Erie

A new media art center is hosting there first official event Friday night, it’s an immersive multimedia installation called “Eclipsing Stars.”

Feed Media Art Center on State Street is inviting the community to check out the space and learn more about eclipses.

New solar panels soaking up rays at Beach 8 this summer

A local artist teamed up with an astrophysicist from New York City to make this show possible.

“We definitely feel at feed like are part of a growing arts community here. You know we’re adding something slightly different with our completely digital focus,” said Liz Slagus, director of culture, community & special projects for Feed Media Arts Center.

Local churches prep for the return of annual Lenten fish dinners

“I’m also excited to be debuting my first solo show. Especially downtown erie this is like the hot spot for the city,” said Alex Staley, a local artist.

In addition to the exhibit that will be open on weekends until May 27, there’s also vendors who will sell their crafts.
