Ypsilanti Police Searching for Missing Teen

YPSILANTI, MI – According to a press release issued by the Ypsilanti Police Department on Friday, February 16, 2024, the Ypsilanti Police Department has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating Kiayanna Alliyah Kiburtz, a 13-year-old girl reported missing earlier today.

Kiburtz was last seen at 10:45 AM at Ypsilanti Middle School and was officially reported missing at 6:50 PM.

According to the press release, Kiburtz, described as a biracial female, stands approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 125 pounds. She has brown hair, wears glasses, and has brown eyes.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a lime green hoodie, red and black pajama pants, and red and white Converse shoes.

The Ypsilanti Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding Kiburtz’s whereabouts to contact Metro Dispatch at (734) 994-2911.

The community’s cooperation is vital in ensuring the safe return of this missing teenager.
