A Crowley man is accused of molesting an 8-year-old girl at a Jennings residence earlier this month, according to the Jennings Police Department.
Oscar Anthony Hebert, 59, was arrested Feb. 10 on charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and sexual battery.
Hebert is being held in the Jeff Davis Parish Jail on a $40,000 bond.
Officers with the Jennings Police Department were called to a residence regarding a possible molestation of a juvenile.
Investigators accuse Hebert of inappropriately touching the girl while at a residence in the 1100 block of South Lake Arthur Avenue.
He was arrested on an arrest warrant following an investigation by the Jennings Police Department.
