ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The Rockford Police Department honors the life of K-9 officer Nyx on Feb. 17 at City First Church, 5950 Spring Creek Rd. A public visitation lasts from noon to 3 p.m., with a law enforcement walk-through scheduled for 3 p.m. A police memorial service is expected to start at 4 p.m.
