‘That is life-altering money,’ CAT driver says following collective bargaining agreement with Charlottesville

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – After months of work, Charlottesville Area Transit has reached a tentative agreement with the city in its collective bargaining negotiations. The biggest thing CAT employees wanted from Charlottesville was higher pay, and they got it. Included for the first time is a pay progression, awarding employees for their seniority.
