Aldi: Grand Opening in Elyria, Another Ohio Store Later in February

On February 15, the Aldi Company cut the ribbon on a brand-new location at 38275 Chestnut Ridge Rd. in Elyria. Adding to an already large footprint in the state. Aldi is not done in Ohio for this month. The company is planning a second grand opening for later this month in Vandalia, Ohio. The scheduled opening is February 29th.

The new store will be located at 6415 Miller Ln, Vandalia. The two new stores will bring the total presence in The Buckeye State to 160.

Aldi is a grocery chain whose roots reach back to Essen, Germany. The company came to the States in 1976, opening its first store in Iowa. Since then Aldi has grown to over 2600 locations in 38 states and Washington DC.
