Vigil planned for 73-year-old who died after being stabbed outside ABQ dispensary

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A candlelight vigil will be held Sunday night for an Albuquerque man who was stabbed to death last month.

Police said 73-year-old Fred Tapia was heading to the Breaking Bud Dispensary on Central near Unser with a friend when two men confronted them, accusing them of almost running them over.

Authorities claimed the suspects attacked Tapia and his friend, stabbing them both. Tapia later died from his injuries.

Two brothers, Jesus and Antonio Secatero, are now charged with murder. The memorial will start at 5:30, outside the Breaking Bud Dispensary.
