CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department will close the Cole Park playground for improvements beginning Monday. The existing playground will be demolished and a new, ‘play-for-all,’ multigenerational one will take its place. The play area is scheduled to reopen on May 29, weather permitting.
