SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 38-year-old Florida man has been arrested and charged in connection with the violent kidnapping of a Shelby Township man. Police said a 24-year-old Shelby Township man was kidnapped by several armed, masked men in the parking lot of a Lifetime Fitness on Lakeside Boulevard on Oct. 23, 2023. The victim was found tied up in the back of a crashed pickup truck in Sterling Heights after a police chase.
