PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – Several people, including a child, were injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix on Saturday afternoon. Around 3:15 p.m., Phoenix police officers were investigating a car crash just south of 35th Avenue and Thomas Road when another collision occurred just east of the intersection. Police say that the new wreck involved five cars, and multiple people were taken to the hospital, including one person with life-threatening injuries. The Phoenix Fire Department also said that a child was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
