The Pandemic closed many small business doors and even opened some for others.
With business grants from the government that tried to send aide to help our declining economy, but did it help?
With inflation, how do these small businesses stay afloat?
One local business owner for Holland’s Bliss Gluten-Free Bakery and Café is reaching out to the Community for help.
In a recent post on their Facebook, they said:
Ok friends, I’ve been trying to craft this post for weeks and my heart is just HEAVY. It’s kinda long so stay with me:
Six months ago my marriage of almost 25 years came to an abrupt end. Not something I ever saw coming. The past year has been incredibly hard, watching helplessly as my family dissolved while I was trying to open this Bakery.
I am a dyed in the wool “Soldier On” gal so that’s what I did. With an incredible team I launched Bliss in Holland and threw everything I had into her. My entire life savings and then some.
The high season was great and we did really well for the Holidays and just lately our shipping program has ticked up. But ultimately the slow season is getting the best of us.
