( WJET/WFXP ) – A local children’s clinic named a new clinic director on Friday.
Shriner’s Childrens Erie named Jon Albert as their new clinic director, removing the interim tag since he first joined Shriner’s in July 2023.

“Jon has fostered the growth of the leadership team, made huge advancements in improving the culture and work environment, supported quality improvement initiatives and led successful recruiting,” said Phillip L. Grady, vice president, hospital operations. “We’re pleased to remove ‘interim’ from his title. Jon’s unwavering dedication to our mission and the revitalization of the Erie campus played a key role in this decision.”
Albert had been in healthcare as an executive for over 15 years with experience in medical group management, hospital operations, rural hospital administration and academic medical center leadership.
