Syracuse One of Six Teams to Watch For Michigan Transfer Keon Sabb

Syracuse was listed among six teams to watch for Michigan transfer defensive back Keon Sabb by Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Adam Friedman in a post on X Friday . Friedman listed Georgia, Oregon, Oklahoma, Alabama, Auburn, and Syracuse as the teams to watch in Sabb’s transfer recruitment.

Sabb entered the transfer portal on Friday after two seasons at Michigan. He appeared in four games as a true freshman in 2022, primarily on special teams, before appearing in 14 for the National Champions in 2023. That includes five starts last season at safety. In 2023, Sabb recorded 28 tackles, one tackle for loss, two interceptions including one pick six, and six passes defensed. He was expected to start in 2024 for the Wolverines, but a coaching change led to exploring his options.

As a high school recruit, Sabb was a consensus four star prospect and top 100 player overall out of IMG Academy in Florida. He is originally from New Jersey and played his first two years of high school ball at Glassboro.
