LUBBOCK, Texas — The Patterson Branch Library invited the public to the 21st annual African American History Month Program to celebrate “the generational legacies of individuals and their descendants who have followed their familial footsteps and ancestral paths.”
The event is set to take place on Saturday, February 24, at 2:00 p.m.
According to the City of Lubbock, the guest speakers for the event include Pastor Larry, Sister Greta Brooks and Bryan and Nedra Hotchkins.
Frontage road work at Loop 88 to begin Tuesday in Lubbock
The program will also feature poetry and spoken word performances, a dance performance from the Ervin Comets Dance Team from Ervin Elementary, and music from Joy Harris & Chantell Stubblefield-Bagley.
