Roanoke County plans to hold a community meeting on February 28, 2024. The meeting will discuss proposed safety improvements at the West Main Street and Dow Hollow Road intersection. It will take place near Interstate 81 at Exit 132, also known as Dixie Caverns. Attendees can drop in anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The Glenvar Library, located at 3917 Daugherty Road, Salem, VA 24153, is the chosen venue. If bad weather occurs, the meeting will move to March 6, 2024, same time and place. The county invites community members to share their thoughts on the proposed improvements.
If you can’t attend, the proposed improvements will be online after the meeting. A survey for additional feedback will be open until March 13, 2024. The county wants to ensure everyone has a chance to participate in the discussion.
