ROCHELLE, Ill. (WTVO/WWQRF) — A great game played out in our “Overtime” Game of the Week Friday night at the 3A sectional in Rochelle where the Boylan Lady Titans faced the Dixon Duchesses.
A NIC-10 power against a BNC power. Does it get any better?
Boylan got out to an early lead in the first, but Dixon came back with a vengeance and closed it out, winning 52-44 for their first regional championship win in 21 years.
Dixon advances to the Sycamore sectional next Tuesday where they will play Crystal Lake Central.
Boylan’s season ends at 25-7 overall and 15-3 in conference play.
