MADISON, Miss. (WLBT) – Whether you’ve noticed it or not, there are thousands of dead pine trees scattered throughout Madison, and the city is sounding the alarm. Last month, Madison mayor Mary Hawkins Butler, along with the Board of Alderman, issued a state of emergency for the city.
