JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Today: Things will be off to a cool and windy start this weekend as temperatures remain well below average with highs only reaching the mid 40s. As this cold front pushes through, winds may gust up to 30 mph throughout the day but will calm down heading into tonight. An isolated shower may be possible for some through around lunchtime. Cloudy skies will prevail for most of today until they begin to clear out tonight along with dropping temperatures below freezing.
