Local Police Crackdown on Vehicle Theft: Multiple Arrests Made in February

The Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, DC, has made several arrests related to vehicle theft and other offenses. These arrests occurred during a week in February 2024, involving individuals aged 12 to 57.

On February 9, a 15-year-old boy from Temple Hills, MD, was arrested for a crime on Wagner Street, Southeast. The next day, four more arrests were made in various city locations. The arrested individuals were three 19-year-olds – Daquan Garner, Mendoza Neveah, Jeremiah Harris – and a 15-year-old from Suitland, MD.

On February 12, Trey Redmond, an 18-year-old from Southeast, DC, was arrested on Valley Avenue, Southeast. More arrests were made on February 14, including individuals aged between 12 and 57 from various locations.

The last reported arrest was on February 15. Richard Little, a 36-year-old from Northwest, DC, was arrested for vehicle theft on Fernway Road, Northwest. The Metropolitan Police Department has not provided additional details about these arrests.
