Hostess Just Announced The Sweetest Mashup Of Beloved Treats

Few snacks take us back to our youth quite like honey buns-glazed yeast pastries laced with cinnamon and honey that sing when warmed. This nostalgic treat was actually developed back in the 1950s in Greensboro, North Carolina, by the brother of Winston-Salem restaurant owner Louis Griffin. Fast-forward a few years, states, and family members, and the Griffins opened a flagship factory to produce pastries in London, Kentucky. In 1983, their company was purchased by Flowers Foods, which now produces around 10 million honey buns each week under the Tastykake label.
