Final Defendant in Augusta Drug Trafficking Conspiracy Sentenced 13 Years In Federal Prison

Augusta, GA: The final defendant in a ten-person drug trafficking conspiracy out of the Augusta region received a sentence of more than ten years in federal prison. According to Jill E. Steinberg, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, Justin Wayne Fields, 40, of Swainsboro, Georgia, was sentenced to 168 months in prison after admitting guilt to conspiring to possess with intent to distribute heroin and methamphetamine.
