The Council Catch-Up Review on February 13, 2024, discussed key issues. These included an appeal for a window replacement at 545 Collyer Street and an agreement between the City of Longmont and the County of Boulder. They also discussed changes to public lands regulations. The next meeting is on February 20, 2024.
On Presidents’ Day, February 19, all city facilities will be closed except for the Longmont Museum and Recreation facilities. Trash collection will be delayed by a day. More details are on the city’s website.
The Longmont City Council will host a Coffee with Council event on February 24, at the Longmont Senior Center. Council Members Shiquita Yarbrough and Susie Hidalgo-Fahring will be present. The Chick Clark Fishing Program for youth aged 15 and under is on March 16 at the Izaak Walton Nature Area.
DocuPet is now the official pet licensing center for Longmont. All dogs and cats must be licensed annually and vaccinated against rabies. The DocuPet system will be live from mid-February.
