Two Men Charged in Sophisticated Apple Store Heists in Berkeley, Emeryville

Two men face serious time behind bars after being charged with felony charges for a series of high-tech heists at Apple stores in Berkeley and Emeryville. According to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office, Tyler Anthony Mims, 23, and Undre Deshaun Railey, 28, have been officially charged with multiple counts of commercial burglary and grand theft, along with misdemeanors for organized retail theft in concert. The alleged spree of gadget grabbing stretched from late November last year through the start of February.
