During the last week, a total of 110 crime cases were reported in Charlottesville. The three most reported crime types were Theft, Suspicious Situation, and Other, each with 21 cases. Assault, Arrest, and Trespass followed, each with 9 cases. This was succeeded by Hit & Run incidents which were 6 in number, Vandalism with 5 cases, Domestic Related with 4, and Burglary with 3 cases. The least severe crimes were Civil Problem and Shooting, each with only 1 case reported. The high frequency of theft and suspicious situations indicates a potential need for increased vigilance and security measures in the place.
