Dr. Brian Joseph LeBlanc and Jenna Elaine Guidry reigned as king and queen of the 80th annual New Roads Lions Club Mardi Gras parade on Tuesday. LeBlanc received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and his medical doctorate degree from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, followed by residency and specialty degree of family medicine in Lafayette through LSU School of Medicine, New Orleans. He is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been employed by the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System in New Roads for 25 years.
