GBI Investigating Unique Cases of Unidentified Remains Across Georgia’s Counties

The GBI has compiled a roster of unidentified remains, encompassing numerous men and women discovered deceased in various Georgia counties. Some individuals were recovered solely as skeletal remains, while others were located over a year after they died. The causes and manners of death for some cases remain undetermined, whereas in others, signs point to homicide.

In the third installment of our Unidentified Remains series, we delve into four cases, each presenting unique circumstances distinct from the others.

Unidentified Remains: Seminole County, 2009

On April 24, 2009, authorities discovered the body of a Hispanic male on Ned-Alday River Road near Feather Field Farms in Seminole County.

GBI officials reported that the male was clad in a striped polo shirt, Ralph Lauren blue jeans, a Nautica belt, and Tommy Hilfiger underwear.

Investigators describe the unidentified male as weighing between 128 to 150 lbs. and standing at a height of 5’11”.
