MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A family in Mobile is hoping for justice months after a beloved father was killed by an alleged DUI driver. 68-year-old Tim McClure died in a crash in May and the man accused of causing his death was booked into jail last month.
There’s no shortage of good things the people who loved Tim McClure could say about him.
“He had a positive impact on everybody. He was just always there for everybody. Always doing. Always caring. And he was loved by everyone,” said Tim McClure’s wife of 38 years Tracy.
That love extended to his church, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. On the morning McClure died, family members say he just finished unloading food from Feeding the Gulf Coast. His friend Van was with him at the church a short time before the crash.
“His smile and his laugh. He was a very kind person. Give the shirt off his back,” said Van Milne describing Tim McClure. Family members say McClure was on his way home when his car collided with another vehicle on Snow Road.
