LAVEEN, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) – A woman died Sunday morning after police say she crashed her 3-wheel motorcycle into a wall in Laveen. Emergency crews were called around 8:45 a.m. to a neighborhood near 35th Avenue and Dobbins Road, where they found a 3-wheeled motorcycle that had crashed into a wall and a woman, later identified as 53-year-old Kristy Gatrel, lying on the ground nearby. Gatrel was taken to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
