A new restaurant has opened its doors to the public in Toledo.
On February 9, the new restaurant Regalo – which is located in Toledo inside Hollywood Casino at 1968 Miami St – opened for business, according to this social media post from Destination Toledo. The new restaurant is a concept from Chef Adam, who offers homemade Italian cuisine at Regalo.
At Regalo, the menu includes appetizers like bruschetta (Regalo offers the classic bruschetta with tomato, garlic, basil, parmesan cheese, and balsamic glaze as well as variations with fresh mozzarella & blistered tomato, lavender ricotta & dried cherries, and burrata & romesco), fried calamari (which is served with spicy marinara and lemon basil aioli), house-made meatballs, Caprese salad (which has heirloom tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic glaze, frisée, and arugula), Italian sausage (the sausage can be mild or hot and comes with peppers, onions, tomato sauce, and cheese), and steamed mussels in a white wine sauce with garlic and butter.
As for main courses, Regalo offers veal parmesan, chicken parmesan, frutti di mare (which is a seafood pasta dish that is made with squid ink pasta, scallops, mussels, clams, shrimp, and lobster, all of which is tossed in white wine marinara sauce), veal marsala, chicken marsala, shrimp scampi, chicken Francese (which consists of breaded chicken with a lemon white wine sauce), spaghetti & meatballs, lasagna, and more.
