The Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) is holding a correctional officer trainee screening at the Southwestern Illinois Law Enforcement Commission (SILEC) on Tuesday, February 20th from 7:30 AM to 5 PM CST. The IDOC is currently looking for more correctional officers throughout their facilities in southern Illinois.
As of now, around 53,000 people are currently incarcerated throughout the state of Illinois. The IDOC needs more people like you to make sure that prisons remain under control with a starting salary around $50,000 per year.
