RALEIGH, N.C. — No. 6 NC State avoided heartbreak with an 86-85 win over Georgia Tech at home in overtime on Sunday. The Wolfpack and Yellow Jackets traded blows offensively all afternoon and both hit dramatic shots at the end of regulation, but the Pack was too much in overtime on both ends of the floor to clinch the win.
