Chesapeake fire displaces two residents and their dog

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Chesapeake Fire Department received a call around 2:33pm Sunday afternoon after a citizen called 911 to report a fire in the 1200 block of Brinsmayd Arch. Within 9 minutes engine 6 arrived and reported “smoke visible from the roof of the structure,” the Chesapeake Fire Department’s press release says.
