SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — According to a report from the Springfield Police Department, a driver was fatally struck head-on by a semi-truck on Highway 126 on February 18. On February 18 at 2:38 a.m., officers from the Springfield Police Department were dispatched to a reported two-vehicle traffic crash on Highway 126 eastbound, just west of Mohawk Boulevard.
