Heat Advisory in effect for parts of Lowcountry today!

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Early morning rain and storms will move offshore leaving us with a warm and muggy start to our Wednesday. Morning clouds will thin out allowing for more sunshine as the morning wears on leading to temperatures climbing into the 90s by lunch time. A Heat Advisory has been issued for Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester and Colleton counties from 11 AM until 8 PM. Heat index values will climb to near 110° this afternoon in many spots. A few late day storms will be possible today with a rain chance around 30%.
