There are many reasons that Floridians may want to fly out of Florida – for business, for pleasure, or to visit family and friends. Whatever the reason, there will be some new flight offerings in the coming months, as well as a couple of deep discounts that could theoretically make flying cheaper than driving. Let’s have a look:
New Offerings From Jet Blue: Jet Blue introduced a new service from Buffalo, New York to West Palm Beach in late July. Additionally, beginning on October 27, 2024, the airline will begin offering service to and from Providence, Rhode Island (PVD) from RSW in Fort Myers.
Beginning on January 23, 2025, it will begin offering service to and from Manchester New Hampshire (MHT,) also from RSW in Fort Myers. (Tickets start at $49 for this launch.)
New Southwest Airlines Offerings: Southwest Airlines has announced that starting in January of 2025, it will begin offering new flights from West Palm Beach to Providence, Rhode Island, and Miami to Pittsburgh and Columbus, Ohio.
